"I found Graham and Creative Tax Reliefs through a Google search as we had a client that was eligible for Theatre Tax Relief (TTR). I and a colleague had read through HMRC’s guidance a number of times and felt confident that we understood how it worked, however, we had no experience in claiming TTR. It seemed a no-brainer to work with Graham because Graham, as a former Creative Tax Reliefs specialist with HMRC, knew how to prepare and present claims to HMRC, would be certain of the calculations, knew where the boundaries were and would achieve maximum benefit for the client. We prepared the accounts and submitted the CT600 as per usual with input from Graham whilst he liaised directly with HMRC’s Creative Industries Unit in respect of the client’s TTR claim. The client received their tax credit without issue and in an amount greater than expected. Our client was delighted as were we and we look forward to working with Graham going forward. "

Working together with accountants for the benefit of their clients.
We are specialists in helping creative companies claim the tax relief to which they are entitled.
Accountants can refer their clients to us, safe in the knowledge that we respect the relationship that they have with their client whilst ensuring that their client’s claim for creative tax relief is to the maximum available.
Following the introduction to your client and after liaising with them, we will prepare and submit the claims and deal with any questions that HMRC may raise. We either do this in respect of the Company Tax Return or amendment to the Company Tax Return. We will ask for a Letter of Authority from your client. This simply gives HMRC your client’s permission to speak with us directly and does not interfere with the 64-8 which remains in place with you as agent.
We often come across companies that have suffered financially due to their failure to claim one of the creative tax reliefs which is always disappointing. The relevant legislation is niche and it is impossible for companies or their accountants to be aware of all of the relevant legislation all of the time.
We are happy to be brought in to advise pre-production if complex technical issues are anticipated or act as specialists on any enquiries that HMRC have raised in respect your client’s claims.
